The Stay Awake Association presents the real situation, challenges, and needs of the Orphanage Le Bon Samaritain.
The Orphanage Le Bon Samaritain, located in the Littoral region in the Pk 14 neighborhood, is managed by Mrs. Patience Frieda Ngo Mbeh. It was established in 2010 by Monsignor André Moudassi. We have 49 residents (25 girls and 24 boys) aged between 4 and 18 years (the maximum age for residents).
Challenges faced by the Orphanage Le Bon Samaritain:
• Nutrition issues
• Educational challenges
• Lack of financial resources to pay for the rental of the shelter site, which amounts to 150,000 FCFA
• Lack of staff
• Lack of clothing and shoes for the children
